About Us
Synergistic Healing Arts was founded in 2015 by Jan Anselmo-Henson, MA, LPC, LCDC, PAT. The desire was to create a full service healing center that allowed therapeutic services to serve the whole person. We believe that a person creates wellness in their own lives in many different ways and through many different venues. In addition, trying to coordinate care and find professionals that are like minded with the same philosophy is time consuming and sometimes difficult. Our goal is to provide many different therapeutic services through the partners in our agency and allow our clients to receive good, quality, thoughtful and coordinated care.
Jan Anselmo-Henson, LPC, LCDC, PAT

Jan has over 40 years experience in private practice, social service and full time ministry. She has worked with a variety of clients in both the substance abuse and mental health field.
​
Jan received her license in chemical dependency counseling in the early 1980's and worked primarily with persons in the criminal justice setting. Her specialties are teens, substance abuse and survivors of sexual abuse. She finds it equally rewarding to work with both adults and teenagers.
​
As a trainer and presenter, she has conducted seminars on various therapeutic topics and provides training for community agencies, schools, churches and synagogues as well as parent and civic groups.
​
She is also a trained evaluator for chemical dependency.
